Specialist Brokers to the Management Rights Industry
RAAS is an acronym for Resorts Accommodation And Sales. RAAS Real Estate commenced business in 2002. RAAS RIGHTS is based on the same premise as the original RAAS Real Estate business in that the all the elements necessary to make a vibrant brokerage business are contained in an on-line “virtual office” where RAAS consultants may run their operations.
Founded originally by Sunshine Coast real estate veteran, Geoff Glanville, RAAS Real Estate started its business as an innovative way for on-site managers to legally become involved in the sales of units within their own complexes. This allowed them to offer an additional sales service to owners at a fee. This not only increased the manager's income but as importantly assisted them to have a degree of control over the size and composition of their letting pool.
As more and more managers decided to align themselves with RAAS Real Estate it soon became very apparent that there would be a synergy between the existing real estate business and another that assisted managers to sell and buy management rights complexes. Two of the directors of RAAS Real Estate owned management rights complexes and so it was a natural progression for a new RAAS business enterprise to be launched. In September 2003 RAAS RIGHTS, a specialist broker of Management Rights businesses commenced trading.
RAAS RIGHTS is based on the same premise of the original business in that the all the elements necessary to make a vibrant brokerage business were built into the interactive web site. The on-line backbone allows RAAS RIGHTS consultants to log into a virtual RAAS RIGHTS real estate office from anywhere in the globe.
The structure has been a massive success as RAAS RIGHTS is undeniably the leading management rights brokerage firm in Australia. We are currently number one in Brisbane and have a strong market presence in North Queensland, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Since the commencement of business in 2003 it is estimated that RAAS RIGHTS has sold one in every 4 management rights complexes in Queensland.
In July 2012, founder Geoff Glanville retired from the RAAS Group, and the Group is now owned and managed by remaining directors, Mike Butler and Rusty Lush
