Fully set up in the back of a purpose built van / truck this unit is ready to roll and has been used successfully across Sydney where it is currently located. The purchaser could continue to utilise existing contacts in the Sydney region including Gyms, Medical Centres and Corporate Clients or it could be moved to elsewhere in Australia.

The following AHPRA registered practitioners can undertake a single half day DEXA Licensing Course to run this scanner and be in business

Exercise Physiologists

The full body scanner as 2 modes of operation

Full Body Composition showing breakdown of fat v muscle content with instantaneous email reporting to patients

There is significant scope for profitability with this business including access to bulk billing and charging gap fees to those BMD patients that have a referral from their Dr. Charging scan fees of up to $128 (Medicare + Gap) per scan and a through put of 5-6 patients per hour can see weekly turnover on BMD studies at $30,000 a week Gross at full capacity run by a single operator.

Running costs are minimal including petrol and insurance.
