Now selling off plan construction about to commence. Check out Mark Bennett Architects overview of the design attributes as follows.
The proposed duplex development comprises two 2 bedroom units arranged in a two storey configuration with each unit occupying a single private level.
Two lock up garages (one per unit) and a visitor parking space is provided at the frontage of the site.
A main pedestrian entry is provided along the North Western boundary which leads to separate entrances for each unit.
The project has been designed to maximize privacy for the individual units while providing good solar orientation to the North.
The large single level floor plates provide double sided flow through ventilation and open plan living in a contemporary design that responds to its leafy, bushland setting and outlook to the rear of the site.
Our design approach developed over many years understands the importance of light and providing flexible planned spaces that allow the owner to decorate and furnish the plan in a variety of ways. The use of feature materials such as a stone clad wall, timber decking and screens set against a limited palate of natural background colours will complement a range of interior solutions.
As well as the two large bedrooms there is also an external room off the kitchen that can be screened off and be used in a variety of ways, again adding to the flexibility of the design.
Each unit has an individual plunge pool.
Proposed landscaping will provide screen planting along the side boundaries with a street feature tree and screen planting to each of the pool and deck areas.
In conclusion we believe that these units will be wonderful to live in.
