The location of Forest Lodge Farm Stay makes it ideal to relax and unwind, far from the stress of everyday living with kilometres of trails to walk or ride in total seclusion. Activities currently centre around horses, with horse riding being a major feature of this property for thirty years. Trailbike riding is also popular locally.
The Grandis (NSW's tallest tree) is just 6 kilometres down the road. The property is surrounded by state forest and national park and the beaches and lakes are only 30 minutes away. The nearest town, Bulahdelah, is just 7 minutes drive away.
There is plenty of room with purpose built guest accommodation of eight family sized bedrooms capable of sleeping 5-6 people each with ensuites and large kitchen, living and dining areas. Features a full-sized tennis court, large outdoor pool and canoes to use on the large waterlily covered dam. Groups, families and single visitors are catered for with farmhouse style accommodation and meals. Private rooms are rented to family who manage the property and horses.
Set on green, undulating hills of fenced fields and tall forests. Two creeks pass through the property with one large dam including an island and a smaller dam up the side valley.
Experienced horse riders lead the trail rides and give instruction to beginners. Husband and wife team pursue holistic programs and training with horses and people.
